WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? IS THERE CAR PARKING AVAILABLE?
We are located at 322-324 Grange Rd, Kidman Park SA 5025 in the rear carpark just behind the RSPCA / Findon Swim School.
There is ample on-site parking available.
WHAT FACILITIES ARE ON OFFER?
We have 3 of fully equipped bathrooms including 4 showers and 3 toilets. We also have storage cubes to keep your belongings.
HOW DO I BOOK A CLASS?
All bookings are to be made via Momence, whether you’re a member or a casual visitor.

WHAT CLASS DO I START WITH?
We offer an unlimited two-week trial which gives you access to our STRONG and SWEATY programs. We highly recommend starting with these classes to get a good taste test of how we go about things at GEDfit. All our classes can be modified based on your experience and fitness.
After your trial, if you are keen to jump into GEDfit classes we will organise a one-on-one session with you to teach you the more technical movements that can be found in these classes.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN MY FIRST SESSION?
So you’ve pulled up, jumped out of your car and are ready to train! Head straight into our reception area where you will find storage cubes to keep your belongings. You can wait here until class starts. Keep an ear out for the coaches who will invite you in for the next class.
CAN I ACCESS THE GYM TO STRETCH BEFORE CLASS STARTS?
Absolutely, if you want to come along and do some extra mobility or stretching before class starts then we have ample space available. Follow the corridor around, head past the coffee machine and you’ll find yourself under the mezzanine in the back corner.
DO YOU OFFER ONE-ON-ONE COACHING?
We sure do! We offer one-on-one coaching which can help us work towards your personalised goals with a tailored approach. Send us an enquiry to get started.
WHAT DO I BRING?
For our classes, all you really need is a water bottle and if you like, a sweat towel.
HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IN EACH CLASS?
Class sizes vary from 16-24 athletes which enables us to optimise our programming and coaching.
WHATS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
If a class is waitlisted then we ask you cancel your reservation at least 6 hours in advance if you can no longer attend. This gives another athlete an opportunity to train.
WHAT IF I’M RUNNING LATE TO CLASS?
We understand sometimes life gets in the way. Our classes always start and finish on time, so if you’re running more than 5 minutes late you may not be able to join the class. This is because we pride ourselves on a thorough warm-up and activation before training.
HOW DOES THE WAITLIST WORK?
Quickest fingers win! The waitlist will receive an email when a stop opens for class. First person to book into the class secures the spot. This basically ensures the spot will get filled.
I’M PREGNANT, CAN I STILL ATTEND GEDFIT?
If you’re currently attending GEDfit and have fallen pregnant we ask you be given the all clear by your GP before continuing to train. Once given the all clear, we kindly as you notify the coaches so we can make any necessary modifications so you can safely enjoy the classes.
If you’re new to GEDfit, we recommend contacting our friends at Ivory Rose for a physio assessment prior to commencing training.
I’M INJURED, CAN I STILL ATTEND GEDFIT?
If you’re injured we recommend seeking an assessment from our resident friends at Physio Smart. They will help guide our coaches to ensure your return to exercise is seamless and safe.
We know being injured can be frustrating but the great news is that any class or movement can always be modified to suit your needs. Always chat with the coach prior to the class so they can set you up with any modifications needed.
DO YOU OFFER GIFT CARDS?
Gift cards can be purchased via our App.
CAN I PUT MY MEMBERSHIP ON HOLD?
Memberships can be put on hold for up to four weeks throughout the year. Simply email us to notify us of the dates and we will do the rest. Please note, a $5 admin holding fee will be charged per week of the hold.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP?
Please email us at gedfit.com.au to cancel your membership with two weeks notice.
DO YOU OFFER CRECHE?
Yes! We offer creche at 9.15am on Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays.
Spots are limited so, similarly to our cancellation policy, please be respectful of those who require the service to train and cancel ahead of time when you can.
RECOVERY
WHAT IS THE RECOVERY ROOM?
The Recovery Room is equipped with a 4 Person Sunlighten Infrared Sauna as well as 2 ice baths.
WHY SHOULD I SWEAT?
Using the sauna is a great way to compliment and increase your health and wellness goals.
Regular sauna sessions offer loads of benefits, our personal favourites, increased circulation, reduces pain and inflammation, mood boosting benefits, strengthens immunity, pain relief, stress reduction, detoxification of the skin and body, and anti-aging effects!
HOW LONG ARE SAUNA SESSIONS?
Sauna sessions are 45 minute time slots.
WHAT KIND OF SAUNA DO YOU HAVE?
We have a Sunlighten Infrared Sauna, which can fit up to four people. Private sessions can be booked or you can book with friends.
WHO SHOULD NOT USE THE SAUNA?
If you are pregnant, then unfortunately you won’t be able to use the sauna.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF ICE BATHS?
Apart from its mood boosting benefits, ice baths helps reduce inflammation and swelling, relieve sore muscles, supports immunity, reset your nervous system and can even help you get a better nights sleep!
HOW DO I USE THE ICE BATHS?
If you’re new to ice baths, it’s okay to start small. Aim to have yourself submerged to your shoulders, control your breathing, start out with smaller time domains and as you experience cold water exposure more often, just like anything, you’ll get better.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I USE THE SAUNA / ICE BATHS?
For optimal benefit, we recommend jumping in the Infrared Sauna 3-4 times per week for about 30-45 minutes at a time.
As for ice-baths, there is research to suggest daily dunks for approx. 5-10 minutes boasts loads of benefits. You can read more about that below.
HOW DO I BOOK THE RECOVERY ROOM?
Bookings for the Recovery Room are made via Momence.
WHAT DO I WEAR IN THE RECOVERY ROOM?
We recommend swimwear, shorts or loose clothing. We provide a towel service so you can sit on during the sauna / use after plunge baths.
DO I HAVE TO BE A GEDfit MEMBER TO USE THE RECOVERY ROOM?
No, the Recovery Room is open to public as well. Simply purchase a class pack via our App to get started.
PILATES
HOW DO I PURCHASE A PILATES PACK
Pilates Class packs are available for purchase via the GEDfit App under Memberships. Upon purchase, the pack will be valid for 3 months.
ARE CLASS PACKS REFUNDABLE
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for any unused Class Packs.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY
6 Hour Cancellation Policy.
Due to our smaller class sizes, we ask that if you can no longer attend your booked session that you cancel accordingly. Bookings cancelled with less than 6 hours’ notice will be deducted from your class pack.
DO YOU OFFER BEGINNERS / ADVANCED CLASSES?
The beauty about only 5 reformers is that we can tailor our classes to the athletes. Our classes are designed to complement the strength & conditioning program we offer and is scalable to all levels.

DO YOU OFFER PRE/POST NATAL CLASSES
While we don’t offer specific pre or postnatal classes, we can tailor the class to meet you where you are. As with the gym, we recommend getting an all clear from the GP or our friends at Ivoryrose Physio before commencing.
DO YOU OFFER ONE-ON-ONE PILATES SESSIONS?
If you’re after a one-on-one pilates session then let’s chat!
DO YOU OFFER PRIVATE GROUP SESSIONS?
Yes we do! If you are looking to book the studio for a group of friends then send us an email.
WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW BEFORE MY FIRST CLASS?
If you are new to GEDfit we recommend arriving 5 minutes early so you can meet your trainer and familiarise yourself with the studio.
Pilates is located upstairs. Head through reception, follow the hallway and head upstairs. Please wait in the room adjacent to the studio and your instructor will invite you in to start.
WHAT DO I WEAR TO PILATES?
Please wear appropriate clothing. Be mindful of loose items of clothing that may gape.
WHAT DO I BRING TO A PILATES SESSION?
All you need is a water bottle and a pair of socks, grippy socks preferred. We have grippy socks for purchase in case you forget! You can also bring a sweat towel!
